About

We build software for the people who keep things running

BasaltDigital started in 2013 in Rotterdam, after our founders spent a decade watching insurance brokers hold energy monitoring together with spreadsheets and goodwill.

Today a team of 57 works on one platform, used across 10 countries. We are profitable, independently owned, and we intend to stay both.

What we care about

Boring reliability. The people using BasaltDigital are usually standing up, often outdoors, and never in the mood for a loading spinner.

Your data is yours. Full export in open formats, at any time, without asking us first.

No surprise invoices. Per-seat pricing, published on the website, the same for everyone.
